Blueberry Chai Bliss Smoothie

Most mornings I have a smoothie in hand, and oftentimes I go through phases of being obsessed with certain combos. This one in particular is absolutely delicious and perfectly sweetened. Blueberries are full of antioxidants and this smoothie also packs in healthy fats and protein so we can start our days off with a balanced blood sugar. It’s cool, creamy, and the warm spices from the chai mix (make your own here!) with notes of vanilla really tie this all together!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened milk (I used almond)

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries

  • less than half of a frozen banana

  • 1/4-1/2 an avocado

  • 2 tbsp nut/seed butter of choice

  • heaping 1/2 tsp chai spice

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein

Directions:

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy right away!

Notes:

  • For the nut/seed butter, I recommend using a more neutrally-flavored one like cashew butter, but this smoothie also tastes so great with almond, coconut, and peanut butter (I’ve tried it with all four!).
