Salted Caramel Mocha Smoothie

A vegan, rich, and refreshing smoothie! Skip the drive-through line and swap out your coffee order for an at-home breakfast, brunch, or sweet snack to sip on. Notes of caramel —from the magic of dates— is blended until smooth with silky nut milk and more. Have this ready in 5 minutes and sip like no one’s watching!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 frozen organic banana

  • 3 medjool dates, pitted*

  • 1/2 cup cold brew

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened nut milk (almond/coconut/cashew are recommended)

  • 1-2 scoops chocolate protein powder

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 1 cup ice

Directions:

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pulse at the end for a few seconds at a time to ensure it’s extra creamy.

  2. Pour into your glass of choice, and enjoy right away!

Notes:

  • If the dates are hard, submerge them in a bowl or ramekin of hot water for 5-10 minutes so that they become soft. Drain the water and then add them to your smoothie.
