Lemon Baked Salmon

Embrace the vibrant flavors of spring and summer with this hearty dish! Each flakey, warm bite is so light and encompassed by notes of citrus. Tack on the fresh dill and you’re golden! I served this with airfryed potatoes and sautéed broccolini, but feel free to make this your own!

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz wild-caught salmon

Marinade:

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1/2 tsp dill

  • a few shakes of pink salt + pepper

Directions:

  1. Place the salmon in a small, glass dish and set it aside.

  2. Mix all five ingredients in the marinade well, then pour it over the salmon.

  3. Cover the salmon then place it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or even overnight. The longer the salmon’s marinating, the higher likelihood of the flavors being more vibrant!

  4. Once you’re about ready, go ahead and preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  5. Move the salmon to the prepared pan, then the pan to the oven and let it cook for 12-14 minutes. Set the oven to broil for 1-2 minutes for a finishing touch. Watch carefully so the salmon and parchment don’t burn!
