Chocolate Peanut Date Bark

There are some things that will never get old, and that includes chocolate and peanut butter inspired flavors. A sweet snack you can enjoy before or after your workouts, or simply as a decadent pick-me-up. With only five-to-six ingredients, this no-bake bark comes together and is ready to enjoy within the hour!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups dates, pitted (about 16 dates)

  • 1 cup unsweetened, creamy peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts

  • 1.5 cups dark chocolate

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • flakey sea salt (optional)

Directions:

  1. Open each of the pitted dates so that they lay flat. Create a flat layer of the dates on a baking sheet.

  2. Spread the peanut butter across the dates. Sprinkle on the peanuts.

  3. In a small saucepan, add the chocolate chips and coconut oil over low heat. Stir until melted and silky-smooth.

  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the dates. Sprinkle on flakey sea salt, if desired. Store in the freezer for about 30 minutes to let the chocolate chill.

  5. Enjoy! Store leftovers, if any, in an airtight container in the freezer. Feel free to break apart the bark prior to storing or leave it in its full sheet.
