Loaded Elite Club Sandwich

This sandwich has everything one could want and beyond! Sweetness, saltiness, and savory bites all around. Make this for an easy, 10-minute lunch you can have and serve on repeat without complaints.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices bread*

  • 2 tbsp butter or ghee

  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

  • anjou pear half

  • 3 tbsp red onion slivers

  • 3 slices prosciutto

  • 3 slices turkey

  • avocado half

  • brie

  • cracked black pepper

Directions:

  1. Toast the bread with the butter spread spread smooth on each slice.

  2. Add the avocado oil to a small skillet and turn the heat onto low so the pan and oil can heat up for a minute or two. Meanwhile, thinly slice the pear and the onion into slivers. Add each of these to the heated skillet and flip the pears after 2-3 minutes and sauté the onions until everything is caramelized.

  3. Assemble the sandwich: pile on the prosciutto and turkey, avocado (bonus points for slicing it into a fan!), brie, caramelized pear and onion, cracked black pepper, and second slice of toast.

  4. Slice in half with a chef’s knife, if desired, and enjoy every bite!

Notes:

  • I used this gluten-free cinnamon raisin bread for an extra burst of flavor!
