Cold Brew Coffee
Stay home and be your own barista! I can confidently say I’ve brewed more of my own cups of coffee than I have purchased (while I have had my fair share of both and love swinging by and supporting local coffee shops!). This cold brew concoction is beyond simple that it’s become part of my weekly routine. Feel free to slightly adjust the measurements to your liking if you prefer a lighter or stronger brew. I’ve experimented a lot with finding what works best for me, but you really can’t go wrong. Level up your lattes and americanos, and repurpose ice cube trays so your coffee never loses its flavor!
Ingredients:
4 tbsp ground coffee
20 ounces filtered water
Directions:
Grab a glass jar and add in the coffee grounds then pour in the water.
Give this a good stir, then screw the lid on tight and store this in the fridge for 24-48 hours.
Strain the cold brew and either dump the grounds or use my tip in the notes section!
Use the liquid cold brew for lattes, pouring into ice cube trays (game changer!), sipping on black, and create your coffee cups to your liking with this!
Store leftovers in the fridge, if any, and use within a week for best results.
Notes:
Reusable cold brew bags have absolutely changed the game for me— no straining needed!
Add your extra coffee grounds to plant soil instead of just tossing them in the trash!
The measurements can easily be adjusted to suit how strong you like your coffee. Adjust as desired :)
