Almond Butter Bliss Balls

There’s nothing like having bliss balls on hand for a quick pick-me-up throughout the week (assuming they last all week!). Odds are you already have the fab five, flourless handful of ingredients needed to make these. If you have a sweet, but not too sweet, tooth like me, these are for you! I highly recommend doubling the batch because I immediately wished I had once I made these for the first time— it was love at first bite!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond butter

  • 2-3 tbsp date syrup

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds (optional)

  • 2 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

  • flakey sea salt, for sprinkling on top (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a bowl or food processor, stir the almond butter, date syrup, and vanilla extract together.

  2. Mix in the flax seeds, if using. Gradually stir in the cacao powder 1/2-1 tbsp at a time. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  3. Roll the dough into balls (I made about 12). Store them in the fridge for 15-20 minutes or freezer for 5 minutes so they can chill.

  4. Enjoy! Store leftovers, if any, in an airtight container in the fridge.
