“Cream Cheese” Cookie Dough Dip

Calling all those who prefer sweet over savory, especially when chocolate’s on the table! Plus, I can’t imagine cookies without even a mere taste of the dough — it simply wouldn’t be right. I eat this dip by the spoonful, but you can definitely bring salty + sweet together with some crunchy pretzels or my favs here. Whatever you choose, the texture alone is one everyone is guaranteed to fall in love with! Having just a food processor to wash, in mere minutes after it’s done, doesn’t hurt either!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (dairy-free) cream cheese (I used this!)

  • 1/4 cup almond butter

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 2 tbsp (ground) flax seed

  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. In a food processor, blend everything except the chocolate chips until smooth and all well-combined.

  2. Fold in the chocolate chips. If desired, you can very lightly pulse them to chop them up a bit. Be sure to only do so for a few seconds, unless you want the chips to be more smoothed out.

  3. Enjoy right away, whether with a spoon or salty crackers!

  4. Store leftovers, if any, in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
