Paris, France
Six months after saying goodbye to my boyfriend in Perth, Western Australia, we met again in Paris to start twenty-four days of being together! We made pasta from scratch, celebrated my 21st birthday, ate at extravagant restaurants, and explored touristic sights in the city centre. Watch my YouTube vlog for even more of the behind the scenes!
Activities:
Galeries Lafayette Haussman
Naturellement Luxe: Spa Privatif (one of my birthday surprises— beyond incredible!)
Printemps Haussman
Walk Along Les Champs-Élysées
Dining:
Bistro Saint Dominique
Café Le Monte Carlo
Café Mademoiselle
Crêperie Port-Manech
Kintaro Ramen
Kozy Kanopé
La Dame de Paris
La Plume Rive Droite (birthday dinner!)
Le Sancerre
La Toscane (only restaurant outside of the city centre)
L’imprévu
Pink Mamma (wanted to eat here but could never get a table— reserve well in advance)
Tío (We nearly order the entire menu— all phenomenal!)
The People Paris Nation (beautiful, rooftop view)
Sights:
L’Arc de Triomphe
La Tour Eiffel
Le Louvre
Montmartre
Musée de l’Orangerie
Panthéon
Be sure to buy tickets for Paris, not Rome! Johan accidentally bought Rome tickets and when we arrived, it was so funny to realize our mistake.
Hot Tip:
If the line to purchase tickets anywhere is long, you can often buy them on their website and skip the line. We did this at L’Arc de Triomphe and it bought us back at least an hour of time.
