Perth, WA, Australia Quick Trip Edition
The next stop on this sister tour of Australia (the first being in Sydney) is Perth. This capital city lies on the opposite side of the continent and is where I will be living and studying at university for the next five months! My sister, Anna, and I stayed in East Perth which is close to the City Centre. It was perfectly located and allowed us to fit so much into just four days (the 13th of February through the 17th). Find all of our very high recommendations below and leave a comment when you give any a try!

Transport:
Transperth:
Use a maps app to navigate and get a reloadable card to tap on-off with. There are “Free Transit Zones” and fares are free on Sundays if you have a SmartRider card. This card works for buses, ferries and trains. Super user-friendly to setup! You can also buy day passes for these fares or pay bus drivers in coins but no change will be given. Everyone is very helpful with getting a card setup for you, just ask!
Uber:
Always an option, but the sights are more widespread in Perth than in Sydney. You will likely be traveling to numerous areas of the city, making Transperth a much cheaper option overall.
