Baked Brie
If you’re in search of an easy appetizer, this is a perfect go-to! A very low effort, but elegant-looking fix that can be made any time of year. It’s especially perfect around the holidays as a warm comfort food. There’s gooey cheese, tart berries, crunchy pistachios, and even more flavors packed in a mere handful of ingredients. Serve hot with toasted sourdough, fresh berries, raw honey, and your other favorite appetizers!
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a small baking dish with parchment paper.
Place the wheel of brie on the parchment.
Mash the blackberries in a small bowl or ramekin. Spread them over the top of the brie.
Use a high-speed food processor to chop the pistachios, dates, and rosemary up together. Pour this crumble over the brie.
Transfer the dish to the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese has started to melt and turn golden.
Notes:
I’ve also used camembert, which works great for this recipe! Brie has creamier notes while camembert is a subtly lighter cheese overall.
