Bold Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
I often find myself craving chicken wings, in the spiciest way. Some things may never change, but after discovering this healthy alternative, I don’t think I will ever turn back! This one-pan dish is just as crispy, if not more so than the classics. I like to seal the deal with by dipping the flavorful florets in my creamy, Whole30 Ranch, the ideal duo. This easy appetizer and game-day snack will impress your guests, and make everyone go back for seconds, even thirds!
Ingredients:
1 cauliflower head, cut into florets
1/4 cup hot sauce of choice
4 - 5 tbsp ghee
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp of each: curry powder, onion powder, and paprika
1 tsp of each: black pepper, preferably freshly ground and garlic powder
Directions:
Cut cauliflower into florets and transfer to a large pan or skillet, over medium heat.
After 2-3 minutes, stir the ghee and half of the hot sauce in, so that all florets are coated.
Once the florets starts to brown (about 8 minutes), add all spices and the remainder of the hot sauce.
Stir and coat everything again, then allow to cook for 2 - 3 more minutes.
Transfer to a dish, alongside your favorite dip, and enjoy!
Notes:
Can substitute any cooking oil, for ghee.
Use any spices on hand, like cumin. The ones listed are simply ones I recommend, for the best flavor.
