Carrot Fries
Whether it’s Thanksgiving, Easter, or simply a family night in, these are served at least once each week in our house! Only made with a few, basic ingredients and truly done before you know it. Satisfy your cravings with any flavors since any seasonings are acceptable for these. Pairs perfectly with my homemade ranch, as a delicious side or appetizer everyone will love, enjoy!
Ingredients:
8-10 carrots
2 tbsp avocado oil
2 tbsp seasonings of choice
garlic + herb: garlic powder + onion powder, oregano, parsley
spicy recommendations: cayenne pepper, cumin, paprika
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Peel, then cut carrots in half both ways, then once more vertically for each piece, transferring to a bowl as you go.
Pour the oil and sprinkle the seasonings into the bowl.
Stir until everything is coated well.
Place on prepared baking sheet, with a little space in between each.
Cook for 22-26 minutes, depending on desired crispness.
Enjoy!
Notes:
For less clean-up, skip using the bowl: After cutting, transfer the carrots to the baking sheet. Then, drizzle with oil and sprinkle with seasonings. Flip each and repeat, for best results.
You can easily shrink the recipe, for an individual serving, or simply use this as meal prep!
