Charcuterie Brunch Board

This delicious meal and colorful snack can be loaded with any breakfast favorites you chose. From crispy waffles to rich chocolate and organic berries, there’s no wrong choice! All of the flavors will mentally take you miles away, on a dream vacation, without having to pack up and leave the comfort of home. Feel free to make for your family or spouse, or, let’s be real, enjoy each elegant bite on your own for days!

Ingredients:

Waffle Wedges:

  • 1/2 cup paleo waffle mix

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1-2 tbsp ground flax

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Organic Berries:

  • 1/4 cup of each: blackberries + sliced strawberries

  • 1/2 cup of each: blueberries + raspberries

Dark Chocolate:

Extras:

  • creamy, unsalted almond butter

  • whipped cinnamon honey butter (here!)

  • roasted cacao crisps

  • roasted macadamia nuts

  • cacao nibs

  • desiccated, unsweetened coconut

  • flax seeds

Directions (and Tips!):

  1. Combine all of the waffle’s ingredients, cook on a lightly greased waffle iron, then separate into four wedges.

  2. Slice the strawberries and chop the chocolate, if desired.

  3. Transfer the easy, homemade whipped butter, if using, and nut butter into well-fitted jars. Do the same with the berries. Place these jars on the board first, and work around them, with everything left.

  4. Display any lose fruit, the waffles, and chocolate onto the board, wherever you see fit.

  5. Fill in the gaps with all but the cacao nibs, coconut shreds, and flax seeds.

  6. Once the board is full and there is little to no view of the base, lightly sprinkle with the cacao nibs, coconut shreds, and flax seeds.

  7. Enjoy right away!

  • The ingredients I listed above are simply guides, get creative and work with what you have and love! This can even include savory goods, such as crispy bacon and vibrant avocado slices — I can’t wait to see what you chose!
