Chimichurri Sauce
This is bound to bring your savory dishes to life! From fried eggs to tacos to thinly-sliced steak, it can truly go with everything. There are fresh herbs and seasonings as well as the bold bite of vinegar that liven up virtually any dish. All of the ingredients get tossed into a food processor then it’s ready to enjoy in all forms and fashions that you crave!
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh parsley leaves
1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 fresh jalapeño
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp red chili flakes
Directions:
Toss all of the ingredients into the bowl of a food processor.
Blend in 5-10 second increments until your desired consistency is achieved. I love a semi-smooth texture for this, sort of in between a liquid and a chunky texture.
Enjoy as desired! Store leftovers, if any, in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks for best results.
