Peanut Butter Cacao Truffles

It doesn’t get any easier than this! These 5-ingredient bliss balls are delightfully rich and indulgent. They have a chilled, soft bite, and are coated with a light dusting of cacao powder. No oven is needed, so you can even enjoy the process of making these in the prime heat of the summer!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup almond flour

  • 3 tbsp date syrup

  • 3 tbsp chocolate chips

  • 2 tbsp cacao powder

  • flakey sea salt, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl or in a food processor, mix the peanut butter, almond flour and date syrup together well.

  2. Use a chef’s knife to lightly chop the chocolate chips, or add them to the food processor and briefly pulse them in.

  3. Cover a plate or pan with parchment in the cacao powder. Roll the batter into balls, and each one in the cacao powder until they’re all lightly dusted and covered all over.

  4. Move the truffles to the fridge for at least 20 minutes to chill before serving. Sprinkle with flakey sea salt, if desired, then enjoy! Store leftovers, if any, in an airtight container in the fridge.
