Grain Free Herby Turkey Meatballs
Somethings I love about meatballs are their versatility and how they can be paired with just about any dipping sauces. This makes them the perfect game day appetizer and general comfort food. You and your kids won’t be able to take your hands off of these. Each ball has a garlic + rosemary flavor, with a juicy bite. Mix in with some pasta or grab some of my whole 30 ranch, and you’ve got a quick, whole meal!
Ingredients:
1 pound organic ground turkey
1 egg, pasture-raised
2 tbsp arrowroot flour
1 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
1/2 tbsp of each: black pepper, freshly ground, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary
1 tsp of each: onion powder and sage
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium-large bowl, whisk the egg, then stir in the flour and all seasonings.
Add the ground turkey and mix with your hands, to make sure everything is incorporated well.
Roll into balls, and place each on the prepared baking sheet, as you go.
Cook for 28-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or over pasta and enjoy!
Notes:
Can use ground beef or chicken as well.
Store leftovers, if any, in the fridge for 1-2 weeks, or in the freezer, for many months.
