Peanut Butter Fudge Smoothie
To those who also have a not-so-subtle sweet tooth, I’ve got your back! This decadent smoothie can even be passed off as a 5-minute meal in the morning. Each sip has minimal sugars, dreamy peanut butter protein, fibrous seeds, and an overall delicious taste. It’s practically a feel-good milkshake (minus the dairy) with hints of rich cacao and smooth peanut butter!
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened (dairy-free) milk
1/2 banana
1 scoop peanut butter protein powder (this is my favorite!)
2 tbsp almond butter
2 tbsp cacao powder
1-2 tbsp ground flax/hemp seeds
1 tsp camu camu powder (optional)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups ice
Directions:
Toss everything, except for the ice, into a blender or food processor. Blend until everything is well-combined.
Add in the ice, then blend until smooth. I like to pulse the smoothie here, for 2-3 seconds at a time, so it does not become too liquidy.
Pour into your favorite glass, then enjoy!
Notes:
I recommend storing your glass in the fridge or freezer as you make the smoothie. Once you pour the smoothie inside, it’ll stay cooler and thicker for much longer than normal!
