Fresh Salsa
This family-friendly, simple salsa is the perfect topping for any meal. It brings any taco and bowl to life! Bonus: use farmer’s market tomatoes, to add an extra boost of fresh flavor. This juicy dip tastes amazing with your favorite, crunchy crackers or soft-shell tacos. Grab a few produce items, spices, and a bowl, then enjoy this in minutes!
Directions:
Dice the tomatoes and onions, then transfer them to a medium-large bowl.
Add all the spices, including the cilantro, black pepper, oregano, cumin, and salt.
Squeeze the lime juice in, and stir everything well.
Fold the goat cheese in.
Grab a chip or taco and serve!
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to about one week.
Notes:
I used two one vine-ripe tomato and two heirloom tomatoes.
Slice tomatoes and onions bigger, for a more pico de gallo consistency.
Used half of a medium sweet vidalia onion and roughly 1/3 of a medium red onion.
